Made with lots of butter, they are golden brown and delicious. I still make a big basket of them every Saturday morning for the Farmer’s Market.

Per dozen.

I started making these oatcakes back in 2011, when I first started at our local Farmer’s Market.

While traditional oatcakes are square, mine are round. Customers needed a way to quickly identify my oatcakes as I wasn’t the only one making and selling them at the Farmer’s Market, especially if they sent their friend or spouse to pick them up. If they picked up the wrong oatcakes, I always heard about it the next Saturday.

I dare you to eat only one!

Ingredients: Rolled oats, butter, steel ground unbleached flour, brown sugar and vanilla.
